The project “Wanderlust Pakistan” was conceived, organised and implemented by the Annemarie-Schimmel-Haus (German Cultural Centre Lahore) (ASH) in collaboration with the University of Lahore’s School of Creative Arts (SoCA). It is the first part of a series of events under the headline “Wanderlust Pakistan” which aims at highlighting the cultural and ethnic diversity of Pakistan.
The Annemarie-Schimmel-Haus, the German cultural centre in Lahore, is a cultural institute which was established in 2003 for the purpose of promoting the bilateral dialogue between Pakistan and Germany through an extensive German language programme as well as through cultural events which it organises on a regular basis in the fields of literature, theatre , music , fine arts and film. The Annemarie-Schimmel-Haus is a partner of the Goethe-Institut Pakistan and is housed together with the French cultural centre, the Alliance Francaise de Lahore.
